No judgment. No forcing you into a box. Just therapy centered around you.
Mental health doesn’t exist in a vacuum. Your experiences, relationships, identity, environment, nervous system, neurotype, culture, community, and the systems around you can all influence how you experience the world.
We approach therapy with an understanding of how trauma and difficult life experiences can influence emotions, relationships, behaviors, and the nervous system. Our goal is to create a therapeutic environment built around safety, collaboration, autonomy, and respect.
We work with neurodivergent clients, including individuals with ADHD, Autism, and AuDHD, using an approach that recognizes differences in communication, sensory processing, executive functioning, emotional regulation, and how people experience the world.
We look beyond labels to understand the person, their experiences, their environment, and the reasons certain patterns may have developed. Instead of asking only, “What’s wrong?”, we’re interested in understanding “What happened, and what do you need now?”
Client-Centered. Evidence-Based. Actually Human.
Therapy shouldn’t feel like someone is reading from a script while you try to fit your life into predetermined boxes.
We combine evidence-based therapeutic practices with individualized planning based on your experiences, needs, identity, strengths, challenges, and goals.
Some sessions might involve unpacking something painful from your past. Others may focus on developing practical strategies for tomorrow.
We believe accessing mental health care shouldn’t be unnecessarily complicated. True Image Counseling currently accepts:
Insurance coverage and benefits can vary by individual plan. We recommend confirming eligibility, benefits, copays, deductibles, and other coverage details before beginning services.
